Proposal for SnS as Material for Effective Thermoelectric Devices

Under the ongoing thermoelectric project, we have achieved a low-cost, nontoxic, and high-performance TE material based on SnS, which is good for room temperature cooling and mid temperature power generation. Further optimization, n-type SnS, device fabrication, scale-up, and technology transfer will be performed in this three-year project. We will restructure the team organization and invite Professor Hsin-Jay Wu to join our team, aiming to establish a viable thermoelectric device based on low-cost, nontoxic SnS based materials.
