1. Types：「Multi‐component Team Research Project (MTRP)(Each MTRP is allowed to have two to five subprojects)」 or「Team Research Project (TRP)」
2. Duration：The term of each project is constrained to three years.
3. Eligibility：
(Main) Project Principal Investigators (PIs) must be AS full‐time Research Fellows of any rank, or AS jointly‐appointed research fellows of any rank with an AS full‐time Research Fellow serving as a Project Co‐PI.
Subproject PIs should be Assistant Research Fellows (equivalent or above).
In order to promote sustainable science exchange and collaboration between AS and domestic/foreign universities, colleges and research institutions, full‐time employees of academic or research institutions outside the AS may be invited to serve as Subproject PIs(or Co‐PIs). At least one third of Subproject PIs within a project must be AS research staff.
4. Application Timeline：
Mid-April – Mid-June: Call for Proposals
July – Late October: Review Process
Mid-November: Announcement of Results
January 1st (Following Year): Project Implementation Begins
