We have some exciting news to share!After years of collaboration with our partner universities, our Advanced Institute on Health Investigation and Air Sensing for Asian Pollution (Hi-ASAP) is heading to Bali, Indonesia - and we couldn't be more thrilled!What started years ago as a shared vision between dedicated teams across Asia has grown into something truly meaningful. This year, researchers and practitioners from Indonesia, Vietnam, Mongolia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Thailand, and Taiwan will come together for 5 packed days of learning and exchange.The programme includes country presentations on real-world sensor applications, hands-on sensor and data analysis practice, a field trip, and open group discussions on collaborative research - all focused on reducing the health risks of air pollution across the region.See you in Bali, 20–24 July 2026!

Cloud systems act as invisible pathways for transboundary pollution across South and Southeast Asia. Through monsoonal and winter circulation, emissions are transported, transformed, and deposited as acid precipitation, impacting ecosystems, infrastructure, and human health. This Advanced Institute explores the science behind these processes and trains the next generation of atmospheric researchers.
